Geographic Data: The map is created using a combination of satellites and developed entirely using numbers, measurements, and GIS software. Our custom terrain modeling is derived from SRTM Space Shuttle topographic data and it allows you to see the topography of our planet. In addition, we also use NOAA oceanic data to display oceanic basins, currents, and plate tectonics.
Map Size Selection: The biggest factor in displaying a detailed map is the size. We can produce this map in these sizes: 24x16", 30x20", 36x24", 48x32", 60x40", and 72x48".
The 60x40" and 72x48" sizes are available as Rolled Prints or as a 3-Panel Canvas Wrap (premium and highest-quality craftsmanship).
The larger the size, the more impressive the display and view of the details in the map.

Framed Map Size vs. Outside Dimensions: Our sizing choices specify the size of the map itself. Our frame options will increase the overall size of your final product depending on your selection.

The Satin Photo Paper Finish offers a modern and smooth surface for pinning. We mount the map on a high quality pin board using heavy machinery for a lasting bond.
For our Canvas Finish, we use premium cotton blend canvas, using archival inks, and finish the map with a protective coating that provides a satin sheen. We mount the map on a high quality pin board for a lasting bond.
