Map Finish Options

For our framed push pin maps, you can choose the finish type best suited for you!

Photo Satin Paper (Ultra Smooth Surface and enhanced to illustrate a wide color depth) - Perfect for visualizing the depth complexities in the oceans - for maps with blue or darker ocean colors. This has a smooth modern look.

Canvas - adds texture to the surface. The canvas is tight-weaved and has a protective coating. This surface may be best suited when you would like a tradition vintage look of canvas. The surface is more durable for children touching the map.  

There are more canvas options: 1) Framed Canvas Map (with an exterior frame), 2) Canvas Wrap (the canvas wraps around the frame), or 3) 3 Panel Canvas Wraps - best for featuring the map in a large display. The craftsmanship is top notched.

 Framed Satin Paper Map (Compatible with push pins)

Our Framed Satin Paper Maps are printed on satin photo paper. The paper is then professional mounted to Gatorboard - a material ideal for map pins, durability, and longevity. The map is then framed and shipped to you ready to hang.

Map Size Options: (the outside framed dimension are also provided)

- 24 x 16 inches (26.5 x 18.5 inches with frame)

- 30 x 20 inches (34 x 24 inches with frame)

- 36 x 24 inches (39 x 27 inches with the black or gold frame / 40 x 28 inches with all other frames)

- 48 x 32 inches (51 x 35 inches with the gold or black frame / 52 x 36 inches with all other frames)

Our Framed Canvas Maps are printed on cotton blend canvas using premium inks. The canvas is mounted on Gatorboard - a material ideal for map pins, durability, and longevity. The canvas map is then framed and shipped to you ready to hang.

- 30 x 20 inches (34 x 24 inches with frame)

- 36 x 24 inches (39 x 27 inches with the black or gold frame / 40 x 28 inches with all other frames)

- 48 x 32 inches (51 x 35 inches with the gold or black frame / 52 x 36 inches with all other frames)

Canvas Wrap Map (Compatible with push pins)

Our Canvas Gallery Wrap Maps are printed on cotton blend canvas and then wrapped around the outside edge of the frame. We use premium canvas and archival inks that are designed to last a lifetime. The canvas is mounted on Gatorboard - a material ideal for map pins, durability, and longevity. The canvas is then wrapped around a sturdy hand-crafted 1+1/2 inch hidden frame. The canvas map is shipped to you ready to hang.
