Map Size vs. Outside Dimensions: Our sizing choices specify the size of the map itself. Our frame options will increase the overall size of your final product depending on your selection.

Maps sized 24 x 16 inches will total 26.5 x 18.5 inches with the frame

Maps sized 30 x 20 inches will total 34 x 24 inches with the frame

Maps sized 36 x 24 inches will total 40 x 28 inches with selection of a 2 inch frame

Construction:

The map is constructed as a high quality push pin map. Choose either Photo Satin Paper or Canvas. Both surfaces are constructed as a push pin map. For additional comparisons, check out our video shown in the section "Map Finish Options" to the right/below.

The Satin Photo Paper Finish offers a modern and smooth surface for pinning. We mount the map on a high quality pin board using heavy machinery for a lasting bound.

For our Canvas Finish, we use premium cotton blend canvas, using archival inks, and finish the map with a protective coating that provides a satin sheen. We mount the map on a high quality pin board for a lasting bound.

Our frames are Made in the USA and produced exclusively for our maps.

Canvas & Satin Paper Comparison

Satin Paper Best Use:

When compared to the canvas, the satin paper has a very smooth surface, rather than the texture of the canvas.

Canvas Best Use:

  • Our premium canvas have fine-art giclee satin gloss, which can be touched and resists fingerprints.

.The canas can compete with the labeling in some of the complete areas of the map. All of the labels can read. The smooth surface of the Photo Satin paper would be the preferredthe choice for distinct readability of the labels.

 

When will my map arrive?

The amount of time it takes for your map to arrive depends on where you live and how fast you approve the proof if you’ve ordered a custom map.

General Shipping Times:

East Coast - 5 days after your map has shipped

Central - 4 days after your map has shipped

West Coast - 3 days after your map has shipped

Will there be a hole in my map if I remove a pin?

Depending on the depth of the pin inserted, you may have only a depression or a through-hole...and depending on the product and its mounting, visible light may or may not be able to be seen by viewing the front of the map. Most framed and canvas wrapped products come with small spacers that mount on the back bottom corners (called bump-ons) that hold the product about 1/4 inch off the mounting surface. If light shines into this edge space then you may be able to see it from through-holes near the edges, but less likely seen coming from areas farther away from the edges. If this is a concern, you might try to control the surrounding light so that any through-holes would be free of light shining through them.

Nice Picture - Quick and Convenient Order & Delivery

Love the picture . Very easy to hang and customize - a great gift for the baseball fan's office. Only downside - wish the colors had more nuance - alot of dark blue/back and even the red push pins don't stand out as much as I thought. Still - I won't send it back and will definitely keep it.
