About The Map: The Darwin World Map is an extraordinary Push Pin Map in a vintage design. The map is named after Charles Darwin, the 19th century English naturalist who is best known for explorations around South America and his contributions to science.
Within this map you'll find fascinating details such as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the tallest peaks on every continent, famous voyages around the world, and much more. What's Included: 500 Map pins and pin case. Each map is individually made to order. We prepare the map with the hanging hardware so it's ready to use and enjoy. The map is nicely packaged and shipped in a large box.
Map Size vs. Outside Dimensions: Our sizing choices specify the size of the map itself. Our frame options will increase the overall size of your final product depending on your selection.

Maps sized 24 x 16 inches will total 26.5 x 18.5 inches with the frame
Maps sized 30 x 20 inches will total 34 x 24 inches with the frame
Maps sized 36 x 24 inches will total 40 x 28 inches with selection of a 2 inch frame

Construction: The map is constructed as a high quality push pin map. Choose either Photo Satin Paper or Canvas. Both surfaces are constructed as a push pin map. For additional comparisons, check out our video shown in the "Map Finish Options" section to the right on desktop or below on mobile.
The Satin Photo Paper Finish offers a modern and smooth surface for pinning. We mount the map on a high quality pin board using heavy machinery for a lasting bound.
For our Canvas Finish, we use premium cotton blend canvas, using archival inks, and finish the map with a protective coating that provides a satin sheen. We mount the map on a high quality pin board for a lasting bound.
Our frames are Made in the USA and produced exclusively for our maps.

Love this map! I ordered the canvas gold framed world map. The gold frame wasn’t a cheap looking gold. It’s very modern and classy. It was so easy to hang by myself. It has a special hanging system that was awesome and I wish I could use it for everything I have to hang. Highly recommend!!!
Mine just arrived today. This is a lovely piece to hang in your home. I love the color and the texture (we upgraded to the canvas material). The map is amazing to look at, has just the right amount of detail and finishing touches. The proofs came quickly and were accurate to what I requested. The final product accurately reflected the proofs. It's wonderful having it be customized. Bonus- it comes with the equipment to hang and an instructional video. Very easy to hang.
I purchased this as a gift for my niece and her husband, and had it shipped directly to them, so I haven't actually seen the item. But she sent me a photograph in a text, and told me they love it! It did look quite nice. Would actually like to buy one for myself one day!
